必赢体育app中国官方网站鈥檚 approach to constructing high-quality Mental Health facilities has been recognised with three nominations for the Design in Mental Health Awards 2025.

Stonebow Mental Health Unit in Hereford has been shortlisted for Project of the Year 鈥 Refurbishment, while Silverwood is a finalist for the Art Installation of the Year and Service User Engagement categories.

The 拢11m Stonebow project for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust has transformed facilities for adult, elderly, and dementia patients, providing 39 single en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor for better access to outdoor spaces, while creating additional welfare areas for staff on the first floor.

Designed by Design Buro, the refurbishment embraces the latest innovations in care, with adaptable, interlinked wards tailored to patients' needs and aligned with the Modernising the Mental Health Act 2018.

Silverwood mental health inpatient unit consists of four wards with 64 single en-suite bedrooms, designed to prioritise service users鈥 dignity and comfort.

Supporting accommodation includes activity rooms, a music room, gym, outside sports facilities, art room, and sensory rooms, ensuring a holistic approach to healing and in line with the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust鈥檚 ambitious 鈥楤uilding for Better Care鈥 initiative.

Laura Hodgetts, Health Director for 必赢体育app中国官方网站, said: 鈥淏eing shortlisted for these awards is fantastic recognition of the collaborative effort that has gone into these two fantastic projects.

鈥淏oth schemes demonstrate our commitment to creating high-quality, patient-centred environments that support both recovery and wellbeing. We鈥檙e incredibly proud of what has been achieved and look forward to the awards ceremony in June.鈥
